Just in case you did not see it, or saw it and did not pay attention, here is the diagnosis and prognosis of the country’s political health provided by country’s top journal of medicine, The New England Journal of Medicine, one of the most prestigious medical journals and the oldest continuously published. For the state of health of the nation’s political system the 34 editors of the journal say: “When it comes to the response to the largest public health crisis of our time, our current political leaders have demonstrated that they are dangerously incompetent.
